Say hello to my new desktop wallpaper!
There’s a large collection of desktop wallpaper calendars over at Smashing Magazine.
The -ber months have officially started. So we all need to prepare for the Christmas rush, the countdowns, the Christmas displays in malls that sometimes get mixed with the Halloween displays. 
And I’m hoping for some cold weather too. I’m really excited about this month for a number of reasons:
- The Gossip Girl season 2 premiere. Last season’s finale wasn’t very good, but I’ve seen the teasers for season 2, and I’ve seen the Pilot over at BlairWaldorf.info and it was pretty good. I’m looking forward to seeing what the writers have in store unfold in the next episodes. Although I hear there might be a Screen Actors’ Guild strike, and production may be halted for a lot of shows. I’m not sure, though.
- One Tree Hill. Only because I’m a Naley fan.
- WordCamp Philippines 2008. Only a few more days left until the event! I’m going there with Dre, and I look forward to meeting everyone else there. This will be the first event I’m going to attend involving the Philippine blogosphere.
My friend, Jeremiah, has gotten me addicted to Guitar Hero 3. I’ve been trying to do Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce. I suck at that song. Which is why I hate this guy, who was able to get through the Expert level with only a few mistakes. And that video was filmed a day after the game’s release. Hopefully, I’ll get to try it out again on Thursday, although I doubt I’ll succeed. I’ll most probably end up banging my head on bathroom vanities.
WordCamp on Saturday. I’ll blog about it after the event. I’m also doing something on Sunday (with a little help from my friends) for my Blog Action Day post for October 15th.
