I spent most of yesterday watching the Oscars.
Kate Winslet finally won her long overdue Oscar! 
I was so happy when I heard her name being called out as the winner of the Oscar for Best Actress. To be honest, I thought Meryl Streep was going to win the award. But I’m so happy she got it.
I was also a little preoccupied looking at everyone’s clothes and accessories. Everyone had such pretty gowns on. So it was interesting to see what bags, jewelry, or shoes they paired their gowns off with. Or if they wear IWC watches.
Anyway, yay for Kate and Slumdog Millionaire! 
I saw that Kate won and I think I actually got teary-eyed. She is such a great actress and it was definitely long over due!
Yes! I was also happy for Kate Winslet as well. I was also happy for Heath Ledger, rest in peace. I was a tad bit disappointed that Taraji P. Henson didn’t win an award for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Kate Winslet has always been one of my favorites! I’m glad she finally got that award.
Her oscar was so overdue that I’d actually thought she already won one before XD.
