Back on Tumblr

I’m currently blogging using my mom’s MacBook while my little brother is playing The Sims 2 on my desktop computer. I recently installed FreeTime – we’re missing just two expansion packs now – and he’s trying it out. He’s having fun, so I don’t dare disturb him.

After abandoning my Tumblr for a few months (I’ve forgotten my login details), I’ve given in and created a new one. Follow me and I’ll surely follow you back – just leave your Tumblr URLs at the comments.

To be honest, I only created a Tumblr to follow tumblelogs like ffffound, lookbook.nu and artpixie. Just today, Aja showed me gluttonyisabliss, which almost ruined my diet. :)

Anyway, I’m going off to watch TMZ. Anyone interested in microdermabrasion?

The weather is being bipolar.

It’s been raining on and off for the past couple of days. It was pretty cool yesterday, but today’s heat is annoying, even though it’s rather cloudy. When is the weather going to be just perfect?

I’ve gotten re-addicted to The Sims 2. I reinstalled the game a couple of days ago and I’ve been having fun with it. My Sim has graduated from University and has reached the top of the Show Business career track, haha.

I’m planning to figure out how to recolor hair and create meshes so I can finally stop downloading stuff and actually create my own custom content. I’ll probably figure it out over the weekend.

Going off-topic, because I’m proud of my dad, watch his Jazz Improv videos on Pelicola.tv. This has been around for a while, and I’ve only gotten around to actually blogging about it. :) My dad is a successful musician in the Philippine jazz scene. While he’s not known in the mainstream music industry, I like to think that he’s pretty much respected in the jazz industry. I’m very proud of him. :)

Anyway, I’m going to go play The Sims and maybe build the Stratosphere hotel.

Catching up on sleep

I just got home from a send-off party for one of my friends. She’s flying to New York tomorrow night, so we threw a party for her tonight. Jeremiah and I had to leave early, though since we needed to catch up on sleep. It was fun, although I was a little sad, since I won’t be seeing this friend for a long time. :(

As you can see, I have a new layout up. That cat was created in Adobe Illustrator out of a sketch I made during Holy Week (I was bored, what can I say). I was too lazy to scan the sketch so I taped it on my CPU so I could copy it. I hope you guys like it. :D

On an unrelated note, I finally bought a 500GB internal hard drive for my desktop computer. My computer currently runs on 80gigs and I’ve been completely dependent on burning files on DVDs for the past few months so I could be able to free up space on my hard drive. I just need to get SATA cables and SATA power cables and I’ll be all set.

Anyway, follow me on Twitter if you haven’t yet. I update that more often, hee. :) Now I’m going to sleep and dream about planting Plum trees.

Holy week

I finally have the time to blog. :) I spent the whole day reformatting the computer, reinstalling Windows, reinstalling drivers, and installing necessary programs. I just felt getting rid of the clutter and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity.

While other people are off to resorts, beaches, and other vacation spots in the country, I’ve decided to take it easy this holy week. I figured staying at home would be more relaxing than trying to squeeze in with people in crowded resorts.

This Monday, my dad and I decided to have a photoshoot. He turned me into a geisha. It was fun. I felt rather silly while we were shooting. If you’d like to see it, click here.

On an unrelated note, Diventare has been featured on instantShift as one of 45+ creative and refreshing WordPress designs. Yay. :) I’m happy to be part of a showcase like this, I feel like giving everyone hugs and rvs. :)

Photoshoot with Sheine

Sheiney

I had a photoshoot with my friend Sheine last Saturday. It was fun, although we weren’t able to get much shots because she was late. :D If you’re interested in seeing the photos, add me on Flickr. I’ll be adding all of photos gradually. :P

Also, I’m currently wrapping up a post about my basic post processing workflow for Photocurious. So if you’re curious, head on over there tomorrow night. I’ll be publishing it then. :)

Anyone interested in boots from UGG Australia?

Quick update

I’ve been out of the loop for a while.

I’m currently looking at bags on Multiply shops. I have this habit of using one bag until it gets wrecked. I don’t usually switch until the bag gets destroyed or if I’m going on a trip where I’ll need a much larger bag. But my current bag is starting to fall apart so I think it’s time to go on a bag hunt.

If I’m not lucky with the Multiply shops, I guess I’ll have to try and find something on sale.
