I spent the day looking for possible farewell gifts for a friend who is leaving to go back home to Malaysia in a few weeks. Some of the things I thought of getting was a Parker pen with a message engraved on it, a stuffed animal, a scrapbook (which would be a little complicated because of the two weeks), or a journal.
I still have no idea what exactly to get him. But I guess I’ll be able to get something as useful as auto insurance quotes.
Also, my little brother is turning 14 this Sunday. I have absolutely no idea what to get him. I think I’ll just take him to a store and make him pick something, hehe.
We’ll be at the mall the whole day on Sunday anyway.
I find it difficult as well to find gifts for someone so I usually end up buying a gift check instead.
Fourteen-year-olds love money. Otherwise, I’d have no idea what to get a teenage boy.
The scrapbook sounds like a great idea for your moving friend.
