Insomnia

I should be sleeping. But I suddenly find myself attacked by insomnia, so I’m keeping awake by blogging and also scanning my Purple Book and Training For Victory manual to prepare for next week.

It’s been a great experience so far and a lot of things have been revealed to me since I joined this batch of T4V-ers. It’s better than casters.

I’m really looking forward to see what’s in store for me next year. I graduate from T4V on the first Sunday of December. It’s a perfect ending to a tough but awesome year. And it’s just a promise of something great for the future.

Computer improvements

Since my brother upgraded to an i5, I’ve been able to inherit a lot of the peripherals from his old desktop computer. I now have his monitor, his DVD writer (so I have 2 of them now), and his Logitech keyboard.

I’ve also been considering making the jump to a quad-core processor, but my dual-core processor is barely a year old, so it wouldn’t be a wise investment. Plus, I’ve decided to stop impulsive buying until I actually get my shirt business afloat. Plus I’m wondering what to get first: a Telecaster or the Phenom processor? It’s sort of like choosing the best tampa car rental.

I’ll probably think about it in the middle of next year. First, I’m going to get a 1-terabyte hard drive, combine it with my 500gb hard drive, install Windows 7 on this little baby, and then convert my 80gb SATA hard drive into an external hard drive.

Welcome to the Berry world

My brother just got himself a BlackBerry. He probably gave up his Orlando vacation budget to get that. Whatever.

I have no idea why we always end up having the same phones. Before I switched to the BB, we had exactly the same phone (same model, color, etc). Good thing our phones are different colors now. His is black, and mine is white.

It’s a little amusing, though, seeing him get used to the QWERTY keyboard. We’ve been talking on BBM and the typos are hilarious.

Computerrr

My brother’s getting a new computer tomorrow, maybe something with a rfid blocking wallet, haha. But anyway, he’s giving me his flat screen monitor and his DVD writer (so I’ll end up having two). Happy days.

I’m looking forward to him getting a new computer since this means that our gaming sessions will be awesome. We’re already planning a bunch of Team Fortress 2 sessions.

Boring

It’s a boring Friday night. It’s raining so I decided I didn’t want to go out today and just stayed in.

I’m spending the night reading about slideshows, while complaining about my sucky internet connection which is giving me trouble when it comes to uploading/working.

I wish the rain would stop. I have to be out all day tomorrow and I don’t want to trudge around in the rain.

Photoshoot wardrobe

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to assemble a good photoshoot wardrobe, for when I hold photoshoots with friends. I always keep meaning to go to the thrift shops around the metro, but I never get around to doing it.

Plus, my models are so small (like me), so I’m scared that the models will look like they’re wearing hip hop clothes. And I suck at alterations.

But I promise to create a nice collection of clothes for photoshoots.

I need a vacation

All this stress has been weighing me down, and I feel like I need a vacation. A friend has been asking me to go to Malaysia with him, and another friend has been trying to convince me to visit him in Singapore. Maybe I should just forget about both people and start planning a Branson vacation.

Due to a lot of commitments, I really can’t leave until the end of the year.

Life.

This week has been a week full of tough trials for our family. It’s gotten to a point where I’ve started looking at my life through different eyes, and through a different state of mind.

Since Monday, I’ve been feeling the pressure to work harder, focus more on saving, and important stuff like disability insurance (just in case someone in my family acquires a disability), and all that serious stuff.

I need to start planning for the future. I never really considered that before, if I were to be completely honest.
