First day off

This is my first day off since I started working. I’ve been working 7 days straight. I’ve done nothing all day but eat, sleep, watch the house (since I’m home alone), read about accutane, and read my Bible and pray.

I guess I should devote a day every week to relax and stock up on energy.

I’m refreshed and ready to start working again. :)

Computers, bleh.

I do not like laptops. I’ve been using a laptop at work lately, and I’m not getting along with it. I’m a desktop person through and through.

It’s just that it seems like most of my work can’t be done on the laptop. I’ve tried editing music files on the laptop, and it crashes. GIMP is really slow, so I’m pretty sure Photoshop is going to be even more slow on the laptop.

I need a desktop computer at work.

Week 1 :)

I’m a week into my new job, and I’m having a lot of fun. :)

There are lots of things that need to be done, it can get really exhausting but it isn’t too stressful. :) I’m happy in my workplace, and I hope to stay for a long time. I still need to adjust to the new workplace, but I think I can handle it.

I need a car. :(

I don’t like driving. I would rather have someone drive me to and from places then have to drive myself, but that is not an option.

Today, while I was smoothing out all my employment details at my employer’s main office in Taguig, I realized that I would definitely need a car since I’d be heading over to the main office at least once a month. Cab fare is just so crazy high these days that a car would be a wiser investment.

It got me thinking about stuff like insurance, emergency road service, and all that other stuff. I would definitely need to know about that if I end up driving. I doubt I’d end up being a good driver.
