Last year, I got the best answer to the question,”where you can get chocolate dipped cherries?”
The answer: you make them!
My dad and I usually use up my days off to bond over chocolate experiments. We’ve made chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered peanut butter, truffles, and a few other easy to make confections.
It is heaven. My favorite has to be the cherries, though.
By next month, I’ll be changing numbers and switching from a prepaid number to a postpaid line because of work needs. I should have considered this option way before I accepted my current job because working on communications requires me to make a lot of calls. I need that line.
Which means I need to start budgeting, and I need to forget about buying stuff I don’t need, like a bluetooth barcode scanner.
After working nonstop for 12 days, I finally find myself having 2 days of rest. The thought of having rest is almost foreign, kind of like having to wear parish clothing.
It’s a welcome reprieve, though. I need to stock up on energy for a busy weekend. So many good things are going to happen, and though they’re good they’re also going to be exhausting.
I just realized that there are so many people celebrating birthdays this month. Last night we just celebrated a friend’s birthday. I unfortunately did not get to buy him a gift. If only I’d learned about personalized birthday accessories for men sooner.
But anyway, I’ve been wondering if there really are a lot of people celebrating their birthdays lately or if it’s just me who has a lot of friends celebrating their birthday.
I also need to brush up on my birthday present shopping skills.
My first instinct is to always get a cake and a card for a person’s birthday – and that’s it.
