Post Christmas

Somehow I feel melancholy about the end of Christmas. This Christmas has not been the most eventful, but in many ways it has been meaningful.

I did not get any gardening gifts. But I did feel so much love from other people. This year was a year of meaningful friendships, and I am grateful for that. I am also confident that 2012 will be a year of more friendships. So bring it on.

Merry Christmas!

Yeah, I’m aware that I’m pretty much late. But I’ve been unwrapping and wrapping gifts… and doing other things. :)

Like, looking at riding boots

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. New Year is coming up, stay safe, everyone. Don’t overload on the fireworkds, and eat healthy! I know I won’t be following my advice, but I do plan to make restitution this 2012. :)

Have a great 2012. :)

Christmas is coming

Christmas, the season of shopping and trade show displays, is coming.

We’ve started decorating at home, in the office, and Christmas carols have been incessantly playing EVERYWHERE.

I believe this year is going to be different. :) Last Christmas was kinda boring, but this is going to be different. I just know it.

Somehow, there’s a feeling of anticipation in me. I am excited for Christmas… I don’t know why, but I am. :)

Saved Festival 2011

This weekend was spent at the Saved Festival with friends.

By far, this is one of the most memorable concerts this year, Switchfoot being the best.

At the end of the night, I ended up buying CDs of the artists that were featured in the festival. I decided to put off buying a href=”http://www.officegemini.com/”>document imaging supplies for next time. :P

Looking forward to Saved 2011! And hopefully, Starfield and Citipointe Live come back for their own worship concerts.

Food talk

I’ve been eating a lot lately.. I’ve been trying to cook up gourmet desserts, so I’ve been thinking of having gourmet desserts delivered.

Anyway, does anyone have any gourmet recipes that they’d like to share? The holidays are coming so I’ll have more time in my hands to cook and bake.

So if anyone has any recipes they’d like to share, feel free to drop me an email or a comment.

Keeping busy

Being busy means I don’t get to spend much time with my friends. Luckily, most of us are single professionals with our own smartphones, so we usually end up doing audio conference calls when we don’t see each other and need to have meetings and such.

However, I will be taking some time off this Christmas to spend time with family and friends. I can’t believe Christmas is so near, the year has gone by so quickly.

Christmas Shopping

It seems like I do an entry on Christmas shopping every year.

Anyway, it’s November and I have to get started on my Christmas list! I’ll be giving gifts to family, coworkers and only a few close friends this year.

Of course, I won’t be giving out michael kors watches. That’s for someone special, who isn’t around yet. Maybe next Christmas? I don’t know.

Excited.

I received a prophetic message last Saturday. It honestly made me feel so encouraged I had to write transcribe the whole recording – all 7 minutes of it! I am excited for God to continue working in my life, despite this Thyroid imbalance.

I’ve also cracked open a new journal and bought a new one. I finally filed away my old Moleskine. I didn’t like it. It was so full of anger and resentment – I’m leaving that behind.
